Pharmacist – Community Pharmacy (Lancashire)

About the role

This full‑time position involves overseeing the day‑to‑day operations of a community pharmacy in Lancashire. You will ensure efficient service delivery while providing high‑quality healthcare to local residents.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions accurately and in line with legal and professional standards.
• Provide expert advice on medicines, minor ailments and healthy living.
• Deliver NHS and private services, including vaccinations, medication reviews and consultations.
• Maintain compliance with GPhC regulations and pharmacy operating procedures.
• Supervise and support pharmacy staff, fostering a positive work environment.
• Build relationships with local GP practices, healthcare professionals and patients.
• Promote pharmacy services and contribute to business growth initiatives.
• Uphold patient safety, confidentiality and excellent customer service.

Required profile

• MPharm degree or equivalent.
• Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to delivering outstanding patient care.
• Good organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
