Pharmacy Colleague – Full-time in Swindon

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and organised Pharmacy Colleague to join our Asda store in Swindon. You will work afternoons on a 36‑hour week, supporting the pharmacist and providing excellent customer service in a 24/7 retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers with health‑related queries, offering a warm and professional service.
• Accurately assemble and process prescriptions, including collecting them from doctors’ surgeries.
• Promote pharmacy services such as Prescription Collection, Medicines Use Reviews, blood pressure checks and stop‑smoking schemes.
• Maintain strict Standard Operating Procedures and record‑keeping for patient services.
• Complete an accredited Medicine Counter Assistant course within six months and progress to Dispensing Assistant training.

Required profile

• Naturally friendly, highly organised and eager to work as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a passion for helping people.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs.
• Willingness to work weekends and flexible shift patterns.
