Pharmacy Dispenser – Community Store Role

About the role
Join a busy retail pharmacy team as a Dispenser, supporting the pharmacist and other healthcare professionals to deliver safe, efficient pharmacy services. You will interact directly with patients, helping them understand their medicines and promoting healthy choices.
Key responsibilities
- Dispense prescriptions accurately, including ordering, labelling, endorsing and collection.
- Assist the pharmacy team in managing and delivering pharmacy services.
- Provide advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the pharmacist when needed.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures to ensure legal and safe dispensing.
- Stay up‑to‑date with store innovations and operational processes.
- Support patients in managing repeat prescriptions and medication adherence.
- Work with new dispensing technologies to improve patient safety and efficiency.
Required profile
- Completed Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or equivalent) or first year of an MPharm qualification.
- Current, valid right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship).
- Preferably experience in a community pharmacy setting.
