Pharmacy Tutor (Remote) – Full/Part‑time

About the role

Buttercups Training, a specialist provider within the pharmacy and healthcare sector, is seeking qualified Pharmacists or Pharmacy Technicians to join the team as remote Tutors. You will deliver engaging virtual classroom sessions and support learners pursuing pharmacy‑related apprenticeships and qualifications on a full‑time or part‑time basis.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of learners, ensuring a learner‑centred experience and successful outcomes.
• Facilitate high‑quality virtual classroom delivery across a range of pharmacy content.
• Assess learner work, provide constructive feedback, and support continuous professional development.
• Deliver mandatory tutorial sessions and additional support to help learners achieve their programme goals.
• Utilise ICT and web‑based applications to interact with students, staff, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with academics and employers to meet learner and business needs.
• Work independently and as part of a team, prioritising learner requirements.

Required profile

• Registered Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician willing to develop a career in education and training.
• Sound knowledge of pharmacy qualifications and the Further Education & Skills sector, including Ofsted regulations.
• Prior teaching, training or mentoring experience is advantageous.
• Experience working remotely and using digital communication tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using Microsoft Teams for virtual delivery.
