Plasterer – Full Time Permanent

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and dependable plasterer to join our team on a busy responsive repairs contract in Thanet. The role involves delivering high‑quality plastering repairs and finishes in occupied social housing, ensuring a professional and respectful service for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out responsive plastering repairs in occupied properties, including patch repairs and full wall skims.
• Prepare surfaces, apply plaster, bonding, boarding, rendering, and skimming.
• Make good around door frames, windows, sockets, and pipework.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area, protecting residents’ belongings.
• Record job details and materials using handheld devices or job sheets.
• Participate in the out‑of‑hours emergency rota when required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in domestic plastering repairs.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Strong problem‑solving and fault‑finding abilities.
• Excellent customer service in occupied homes.
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations.

• Plaster mixing and application.
• Wall and ceiling skimming.
• Patch repair techniques.
• Surface preparation for durable finishes.
• Use of handheld job‑management devices.

What we offer

• Hourly rate of £14.74.
• Company van and fuel card.
• 42.5 hours per week (8‑5, Monday‑Friday).
• Permanent full‑time contract.
