Plumber – Social Housing (South East London)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced plumber to join a leading repairs and maintenance contractor serving the social housing sector in South East London. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality property maintenance, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and providing excellent service to residents.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine plumbing maintenance and repairs across multiple properties each day.
• Complete jobs to a best‑in‑class standard while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
• Use a PDA and job‑scheduling software to record work and manage appointments.
• Respond to call‑outs and overtime requests as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a plumber, preferably within social housing or a similar environment.
• Relevant trade qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 in plumbing is desirable).
• Valid UK manual driving licence and willingness to undergo a DBS check.
• Knowledge of NHF SORS, CSCS card and Asbestos Awareness certification is advantageous.
