Plumber – West London

About the role

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking a qualified plumber to join its facilities team in West London. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing water, medical‑gas and related distribution systems across the site, ensuring compliance with health‑safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, repair, testing, installation and troubleshooting of plumbing, water and medical‑gas supply systems.
• Install new piping, fixtures and medical‑gas supply systems according to blueprints, specifications and relevant codes.
• Maintain waste and vent lines using tools such as plumber’s snake, vacuum plunger and jet washer.
• Carry out safety inspections and preventive maintenance on backflow devices.
• Assist contractors and other departments on projects requiring plumbing expertise.
• Provide training to staff for basic plumbing tasks and respond to emergency situations promptly.

Required profile

• Minimum City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in plumbing.
• Relevant experience in maintenance or facilities environments.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Required skills

• Plumbing installation and repair.
• Backflow device testing and maintenance.
• Use of plumber’s snake, vacuum plunger and jet washer.
