Policy Manager (12‑month Fixed‑Term Contract)

About the role

The Policy Manager will lead the development of policy across a diverse and evolving portfolio, responding to changes in healthcare, regulation and the political landscape. You will use research, evidence and stakeholder insight to shape policy positions, inform organisational decisions and contribute to legislative reform.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex policy development projects from inception to implementation.
• Shape responses to emerging political, healthcare and regulatory developments.
• Commission and oversee research, stakeholder engagement and evidence‑gathering activities.
• Build strong partnerships with government departments, regulators, employers and professional bodies.
• Influence the future development of the regulatory framework and register.

Required profile

• Significant experience leading complex policy development or problem‑solving activities using evidence, consultation and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience working with operational or service delivery teams to design and implement change initiatives.
• Experience interpreting, applying or developing legislative, regulatory or policy frameworks within a complex environment.
