Pot Washer – Restaurant Team Member (Part‑time)

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Pot Washer to join our busy kitchen team at our Stevenage Garden Centre restaurant. You will primarily work in the pot wash area, ensuring all kitchenware is cleaned to high standards and supporting both front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house operations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the pot wash station and follow cleaning checklists.
• Clean, sanitize, and return dishes, crockery, and utensils to proper storage.
• Maintain a tidy and organised work area.
• Assist front‑of‑house staff with packing, unpacking, and stacking trays.
• Collect and replace dirty and clean trays as needed.
• Uphold company hygiene policies and high cleanliness standards.

Required profile

• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
• Attention to detail and reliability.
• Flexibility to work varied days and hours, including weekends.
