Powder Coater / Shot Blaster – Night Shift

About the role

Multitask Recruitment Solutions is looking for an experienced Powder Coater/Shot Blaster to join a well‑established manufacturing team in Leyland. This full‑time night‑shift role offers a competitive hourly rate and the chance to work in a stable, long‑term environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare metal surfaces by shot blasting to remove rust, scale and contaminants.
• Apply powder coating using industry‑standard techniques to achieve even coverage and required thickness.
• Operate and maintain shot blasting and powder coating equipment.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure a high‑standard finish.
• Follow health and safety procedures, including proper use of PPE.
• Keep the workspace clean and organised.

Required profile

• Previous experience in shot blasting and/or powder coating.
• Knowledge of surface preparation and coating processes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Willingness to work night shifts (Monday‑Thursday, 6 PM – 6 AM).
