Primary Learning Support Assistant (SEND) – Day Rate

About the role

We are partnering with primary schools across Medway to provide experienced SEND Teaching Assistants. The role starts after the half‑term break and runs until the end of the academic year, offering both day‑to‑day supply and longer‑term placements.

Key responsibilities

• Support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.
• Assist children with ADHD, challenging behaviour and additional learning needs.
• Provide flexible coverage for day‑to‑day supply and longer‑term assignments.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to implement individualized support plans.

Required profile

• Proven experience working with primary‑age pupils who have SEND.
• Familiarity with supporting children with ADHD and challenging behaviour.
• Passion for helping young learners succeed in a school environment.
• Ability to adapt to different school settings across Medway.
