Primary School Site Supervisor (Caretaker)

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Primary School Site Supervisor to join a welcoming primary school in Stockport. This full‑time, split‑shift position starts immediately and is essential for keeping the school environment safe, secure and well‑presented each day.
Key responsibilities
- Open and close the school site each day.
- Carry out general maintenance tasks and minor repairs.
- Ensure the premises are safe, secure and clean for staff, pupils and visitors.
- Monitor contractors and report any maintenance issues.
- Support the day‑to‑day operational needs of the school.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a School Caretaker, Site Supervisor or similar facilities role.
- Knowledge of general maintenance, health and safety, and site security.
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
- Proactive, reliable and flexible approach to work.
