About the role

Primary schools across Dover are looking for enthusiastic Key Stage 1 supply teachers to join their teams on a short‑term or long‑term basis. The role starts immediately and offers flexible daily or long‑term supply options, allowing you to support young learners while gaining varied classroom experience.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging KS1 lessons in literacy, numeracy and communication.
• Maintain strong classroom practice focused on pupil progress and wellbeing.
• Support inclusive learning environments that nurture confidence and curiosity.
• Collaborate with supportive staff teams and contribute to the wider school community.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it.
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1.
• Positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
• Commitment to creating an inclusive environment where all children can thrive.
