About the role
We are looking for a qualified Primary Teacher to join schools in Runcorn on a flexible, day‑to‑day supply basis. This role offers the chance to teach across EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, delivering engaging lessons that support every child's progress.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and mark differentiated lessons aligned with the Primary National Curriculum.
- Assess pupil progress, maintain accurate records and provide constructive feedback.
- Manage classroom behaviour to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants, SEND staff and parents to support pupil wellbeing.
Required profile
- Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching in a UK primary school setting (early career teachers are welcome).
- Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum and effective classroom management strategies.
- Willingness to obtain a valid, enhanced DBS check on the update service.
