Principal Engineer (Microsoft)

About the role

Claranet Limited is looking for a Principal Engineer with deep Microsoft expertise to help customers and internal teams deliver secure, hybrid identity, security and endpoint solutions. You will work across Windows Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Defender XDR, Sentinel, Intune and SCCM, providing design assurance and hands‑on implementation support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consulting‑grade architecture reviews and design assurance for complex Microsoft‑centric projects.
• Produce technical artefacts such as current‑state assessments, target‑state architectures and phased roadmaps.
• Develop and reuse repeatable patterns, checklists and standards aligned with Claranet ways of working.
• Serve as a senior technical expert within the Office of the CTO, delivering hands‑on support across identity, security, endpoint and cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with networking and broader architecture teams when engagements require cross‑disciplinary expertise.
