Principal Moderator & Content Author – T Levels Craft & Design

About the role

The Principal Moderator and Content Author will ensure the quality and consistency of internally assessed units for the T Levels Craft and Design Furniture Maker (Upholstery) occupational specialism. This remote position supports Pearson’s commitment to high‑quality vocational qualifications across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain standards of internally assessed units in line with specifications and assessment criteria.
• Oversee the standardisation process for examiners to ensure consistent marking.
• Read and adhere to all Pearson policies, guidance, and confidentiality requirements.
• Attend mandatory meetings and training sessions as requested by Pearson.
• Meet all deadlines and deliver work to the highest professional standard.
• Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion while representing Pearson with integrity.
• Use personal IT equipment with appropriate security measures to run Pearson software.
• Communicate promptly with Pearson and its centres and raise any concerns about malpractice or safeguarding.
