Prison Escort Contractor – HMP Coldingley

About the role

This temporary, full‑time position involves providing escort services for contractors, tools and vehicles within HMP Coldingley. You will work as part of a third‑party contractor team, ensuring the safe movement of personnel and assets throughout the prison.

Key responsibilities

• Book in and escort all contractors, tools and vehicles entering the establishment.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date tool list and verify that all equipment is accounted for.
• Supervise contractors at all times and enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Communicate regularly via radio and keep accurate records of those under your charge.
• Act as the first responder to incidents, supporting the team to resolve issues safely.

Required profile

• Honest, reliable and hard‑working with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent team player able to follow instructions and maintain order.
• Willingness to undergo on‑site training and adapt to changing shift patterns.

• Hourly rate of £15.34 inclusive of holiday pay (weekly pay).
