Private Client Chartered Legal Executive (Wills Supervision)

About the role

We are seeking a Private Client Chartered Legal Executive to lead our Wills Case Supervision team within the estate planning department. The role offers flexible full‑time or part‑time hours, with the option to work remotely or from our Sheffield office.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with solicitors and technical professionals to ensure high‑quality progression of estate planning files.
• Provide quality assurance by reviewing wills, trusts, and Lasting Powers of Attorney for legal and technical accuracy.
• Offer feedback and technical support to meet clients' estate planning objectives.
• Liaise closely with the estate planning team throughout cases, handling ad‑hoc queries.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal processes.

Required profile

• Qualified as a solicitor, CILEX, STEP, or equivalent experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of estate planning, wills drafting, and trust creation.
• Experience with tax planning related to lifetime estate planning.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

What we offer

• Salary starting from £33,000 per year (range £30,001‑£45,000) with excellent benefits.
• No billable targets or chargeable hour requirements.
• Flexible working: full‑time (37.5 h) or part‑time (minimum 22.5 h).
