About the role

We are seeking a Private Client Lawyer to join our award‑winning team in Newcastle upon Tyne. The role offers a varied caseload, flexible working and clear pathways to partnership for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Manage an independent caseload covering wills, probate, lasting powers of attorney, court of protection and estate administration.
• Provide advice to a diverse client base on contested estates and related private client matters.
• Develop specialised expertise in areas of private client work that align with personal interests.
• Collaborate closely with senior private client practitioners within the firm.

Required profile

• At least 2 years post‑qualification experience handling private client matters.
• Strong client‑care skills and a proactive, ambitious approach to career development.
• Demonstrated ability to build long‑term client relationships.

Required skills

• Experience advising on wills, probate, lasting powers of attorney, court of protection and estate administration.
