Private Client Solicitor – Hastings (Hybrid)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Private Client Solicitor to join our friendly team in Hastings. The role offers a hybrid working pattern and the chance to support individuals with important personal legal matters.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and review wills and provide estate‑planning advice.
• Manage probate cases from initiation through to completion.
• Prepare and register lasting powers of attorney.
• Assist clients with Court of Protection applications.
• Deliver clear, empathetic guidance during sensitive periods.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor (NQ to 3 years post‑qualification experience preferred).
• Experience in private client work, particularly wills, probate and LPAs.
• Strong client‑care orientation and ability to build trust.
• Self‑managed caseload with a proactive approach.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of wills, probate and lasting powers of attorney.
• Familiarity with digital case‑management systems.
