Private Client Solicitor (Self‑Employed Consultant)

About the role

Richard Nelson LLP offers experienced private client solicitors the chance to work as self‑employed consultants within a nationally recognised firm. You will operate with full support while enjoying the flexibility of remote or office‑based work, and you will benefit from a modern consultancy model that prioritises autonomy and client focus.

Key responsibilities

• Provide specialist private client legal advice to professionals, businesses and individuals.
• Manage your own caseload confidently, from intake through to resolution.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships to generate fee‑earning opportunities.
• Adhere to compliance, regulatory and insurance requirements with firm support.

Required profile

• Senior solicitor with extensive post‑qualification experience in private client law.
• Proven ability to manage an independent caseload and a strong client following.
• Minimum billing of £100,000 per annum (or £8,000 per month) demonstrated.
