Senior Residential Real Estate Solicitor

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Residential Real Estate Solicitor to join a leading national law firm in Plymouth. The successful candidate will lead residential development transactions, advise a diverse client base and contribute to the growth of a market‑leading team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage residential development deals from inception to completion, ensuring all legal and regulatory requirements are met.
• Provide strategic advice to developers, investors and public‑sector clients on property acquisitions, disposals and planning matters.
• Build and maintain strong, long‑term client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for key accounts.
• Support business development initiatives, including networking and proposal preparation.
• Supervise, mentor and develop junior lawyers and support staff within the practice.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with at least 6 years post‑qualification experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in residential development transactions.
• Commercially minded with excellent client‑management abilities.
• Proven experience supervising and developing junior team members.
