Private Client Solicitor – Senior Leadership Role

About the role

G2 Legal Limited is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to lead and develop its growing Private Client Department. This senior position combines strategic leadership with hands‑on fee‑earning work, offering the chance to shape the future of the practice.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop the Private Client Department, ensuring high standards of client care and compliance.
• Supervise and mentor solicitors, a trainee solicitor and support staff.
• Maintain a varied personal caseload covering wills, probate, estate administration, trusts, lasting powers of attorney and deputyship matters.
• Support business development and marketing initiatives.
• Monitor departmental performance, regulatory obligations and service delivery standards.

Required profile

• Significant experience in private client law.
• Strong leadership and people‑management abilities.
• Excellent technical expertise and client‑care standards.
• Commercial awareness and experience working towards financial targets.
• STEP qualification (preferred) or willingness to work towards accreditation.
