Private Client Solicitor – Senior Legal Consultant

About the role

Richard Nelson LLP is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join its national consultancy model. Working as a self‑employed consultant, you will have the flexibility to serve high‑net‑worth clients either remotely or from the office while benefiting from full firm support.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a personal caseload of private client matters, including wills, trusts, and tax planning.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high‑quality advice and service.
• Generate revenue through fee‑earning activities and meet a minimum billing target of £100,000 per annum.
• Collaborate with the firm’s compliance, admin, and accounts teams to ensure regulatory adherence.
• Participate in regular in‑house training and contribute to the firm’s knowledge base.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with post‑qualification experience in private client work.
• Proven ability to manage a caseload independently and meet billing targets.
• Existing client base or the capacity to build one quickly.
• Commitment to the firm’s values of integrity, expertise, and client‑focused service.
