Private Client Tax Director

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Private Client Tax Director to lead our private client tax practice in Fareham. The role offers senior leadership influence over tax strategy for high‑net‑worth individuals, trusts, partnerships and estates, within a well‑established chartered accountancy firm.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a complex portfolio of private client tax matters, including income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax and trust work.
• Develop and execute business development initiatives to attract and retain high‑net‑worth clients.
• Provide strategic tax planning advice to individuals, families, trusts and estates.
• Mentor, coach and develop junior and senior tax team members.
• Maintain strong client relationships at senior level and represent the firm externally.

Required profile

• Significant experience in private client tax advisory for high‑net‑worth individuals, trusts and estates.
• Proven track record of business development and client relationship management.
• Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop a tax team.
• Right to work in the UK.
