Process Engineer – Hybrid, £50k-£60k

About the role

We are seeking a Process Engineer with a mechanical, chemical or gas‑handling background to join a leading specialist engineering firm. You will act as the technical liaison for complex, state‑of‑the‑art projects, supporting senior project managers from concept through commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate project workstreams, suppliers and client interactions as the primary technical contact.
• Develop and review P&IDs and technical schematics for bespoke process systems.
• Support senior project managers in delivering projects from design to handover and commissioning.
• Visit client sites as required and ensure compliance with regulated sector standards.

Required profile

• Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical, Process, Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience in mechanical, chemical, process or industrial gas engineering.
• Ability to read, update and interpret P&IDs and technical schematics.
• Willingness to commute to the Godalming area and travel to client sites.
