Process Engineer (Hybrid) – Warrington or Abingdon

About the role

Orano is seeking a Process Engineer to join its hybrid team in either Warrington or Abingdon. You will work on a nuclear or highly regulated site, delivering design outputs while ensuring safety, cost, quality and schedule targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare design deliverables such as drawings, reports and calculations to agreed standards.
• Support the production and development of process discipline documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory and company policies.
• Travel to other Orano offices or client sites as required and adapt work patterns to project needs.

Required profile

• BEng (Hons) or MEng (Hons) in Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Process Engineer on a nuclear or similarly regulated site.
• Associate member of the IChemE working towards chartership.
• Proven ability to work effectively within a team on process engineering tasks.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and willingness to undergo security vetting.
