Procurement Administrator

About the role

The Procurement Administrator will manage day‑to‑day procurement activities, acting as the primary contact for purchasing enquiries from internal teams and suppliers. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the role supports the full procurement cycle to ensure goods and services are sourced, ordered and delivered efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Create and issue purchase orders, quotations and RMAs in line with procedures.
• Manage the end‑to‑end purchasing process from requisition through delivery.
• Liaise with suppliers to meet delivery commitments, expediting orders when needed.
• Obtain and compare supplier quotations, pricing, lead times and specifications.
• Build and maintain positive supplier relationships as the main procurement contact.
• Respond to internal stakeholder enquiries about orders, deliveries and product availability.
• Work with project and operational teams to ensure timely, complete deliveries.
• Review purchase order acknowledgements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate supplier, product and purchasing data in company systems.
• Monitor outstanding orders and provide regular status updates.
• Support supplier onboarding and maintain compliance records.
• Produce procurement reports and purchasing data for decision‑making.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, supplier performance and efficiency.
• Assist with contract administration and ensure adherence to policies.
