Procurement Officer

About the role

Working as part of an established procurement team, you will support the delivery of procurement projects, contract management activities and sourcing initiatives, helping to ensure compliance, value for money and best practice.

Key responsibilities

• Support competitive tender processes, contract awards and framework call‑offs.
• Assist with sourcing activities and supplier engagement to identify value‑for‑money solutions.
• Support contract management and maintain procurement pipelines and project registers.
• Engage with internal stakeholders to provide procurement guidance and ensure compliance.
• Assist with supplier negotiations and contract discussions.

Required profile

• Prior procurement experience in a public sector or regulated environment.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and data‑management abilities.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong written communication skills, including report writing.
• Good stakeholder engagement and relationship‑building capabilities.
• Proactive approach with strong attention to detail.
