Procurement Specialist – International Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for a mid‑to‑senior Procurement Specialist to join our Procurement & Logistics team. You will support QG Construction UK’s infrastructure projects across emerging markets, primarily in Africa, by managing the full procurement lifecycle and leveraging digital tools for data‑driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain procurement procedures and documentation for national and international projects.
• Conduct market surveys to identify qualified suppliers and map strategic opportunities.
• Prepare RFI/RFQ documents, analyse bids, produce comparison reports and perform critical analysis.
• Generate procurement progress reports and KPI dashboards for performance monitoring.
• Track contracts, manage procurement documentation and ensure compliance.
• Monitor logistics and delivery schedules to meet project deadlines.
• Research, assess and evaluate supplier performance on an ongoing basis.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Industrial, Construction Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of international procurement experience in the infrastructure sector.
• CIPS certification is a strong advantage.
• Fluent in English; additional languages such as Portuguese, Spanish, French or Polish are beneficial.
• Team‑oriented, proactive, curious and committed to continuous improvement.
• Willingness to travel and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
