Product Designer – Giftware & Licensed Products

About the role

WIDDOP and Co. is seeking a Designer and a Senior Designer to join its creative team in the Manchester area. You will work on the full design cycle of giftware and homeware collections, from trend research to final artwork, supporting both in‑house brands and licensed collaborations.

Key responsibilities

• Research consumer and design trends and produce mood boards.
• Create sketches and digital designs that align with brand identities and licensor guidelines.
• Develop technical specifications and production‑ready artwork.
• Collaborate with product development, buying and sales teams to refine concepts.
• Prepare packaging, POS and marketing visuals as required.
• Present design ideas to internal stakeholders and support range development.
• Travel to showrooms, trade shows and factories in Asia, Europe and the USA when needed.

Required profile

• Strong product and graphic design experience for giftware, homeware or related consumer products.
• Proven ability to translate trends into commercially viable designs.
• Experience working with licensed products and adhering to brand/licensor guidelines.
• Excellent attention to detail, layout and typography.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
