Product Manager & Accounting SME – AI Solutions

About the role

This hybrid position sits at the crossroads of deep accounting expertise and AI product development. You will act as both Product Manager and Subject Matter Expert, shaping AI agents that support accounting and audit teams while working closely with engineering and design.

Key responsibilities

• Define product requirements and user stories based on accounting and audit workflows.
• Prioritise enhancements, collaborate with engineering, design and commercial teams, and support roadmap development.
• Serve as the accounting and audit SME, mapping end‑to‑end processes and validating outputs against standards.
• Ensure technical accuracy, compliance, and monitor regulatory changes.
• Participate in customer demonstrations and discovery activities.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification.
• Strong post‑qualified experience in practice or industry, with solid knowledge of FRS 102, FRS 101 and IFRS.
• Experience in financial reporting, month‑end close, and audit methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Comfortable working alongside technical teams.
