Product Manager – Core Banking (Relocation to Cyprus)

About the role

We are seeking a senior, technically strong Product Manager to own and evolve our core banking platform. The role will drive scalability, sustainability and measurable business impact while supporting our expansion into Banking-as-a-Service.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the Core Banking roadmap (3‑, 6‑, 12‑month horizons) aligned with the company’s growth targets.
• Scale the platform to handle significant transaction growth, conduct stress‑testing and manage cost control.
• Identify and reduce technical bottlenecks and architectural debt.
• Translate business opportunities, including BaaS expansion, into structured product initiatives.
• Lead discovery, write PRDs and ensure architectural alignment with engineering.
• Collaborate with Delivery Manager and Engineering Lead to guarantee roadmap execution and squad outcomes.
• Organise monthly product reviews and align stakeholders on priorities and trade‑offs.
• Evaluate third‑party integrations and support API‑based BaaS capabilities.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner.
• Strong background in Core Banking or Banking-as-a-Service environments.
• Experience owning a core banking backend system in a fintech or digital bank.
• Technical understanding of system architecture, APIs and integrations.
• Solid grasp of the software development lifecycle and Agile/Scrum processes.
• Data‑driven mindset with strong analytical skills.
