About the role

FTSE Russell is looking for a Product Manager to help develop and grow its Global Equity and Multi-Asset index offering across EMEA, based in London. The role sits in a front-to-back product organisation covering index research, design, governance, commercialisation and client delivery, working with research, sales, technology, operations and marketing teams. It is a manager-level position.

Key responsibilities

  • Support product strategy and execution for Global Equity and Multi-Asset indices, aligned to global objectives and regional growth priorities.
  • Conduct market analysis and competitive benchmarking to identify client demand, gaps and growth opportunities, and use these insights to inform product positioning and the roadmap.
  • Work with Sales and Proposition teams on commercial execution, including client targeting, product positioning and solution design.
  • Drive revenue growth through increased product adoption, regional expansion and deeper penetration of institutional and wealth management segments.
  • Engage directly with clients to gather feedback and turn requirements into product enhancements or new solutions.
  • Help plan go-to-market strategies for new launches and product enhancements, and provide subject matter expertise for client-facing materials and presentations.
  • Analyse product usage, client behaviour and market data to monitor performance and improve product-market fit.
  • Prepare analysis and updates for internal business reviews and senior stakeholder discussions.

Required profile

  • 7+ years' experience in product management, research, commercial or strategy roles in financial services or the index/data industry.
  • Proven experience with equity and/or multi-asset products, index solutions or investment benchmarks.
  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics or a related discipline; CFA is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of global equity markets, multi-asset investing and index-based solutions (e.g. ETFs, funds and derivatives).

Required skills

  • Commercial acumen, including product lifecycle management and revenue growth and go-to-market experience.
  • Client engagement and ability to balance client needs with scalability, governance and commercial objectives.
  • Data analysis using tools such as Excel and Python, and data platforms used in financial services.
  • Communication and influence, with the ability to present to senior stakeholders and produce product documentation.
  • Ability to collaborate across research, policy, sales, technology, operations and marketing in a matrix organisation.
