Production Assistant – Luxury Fashion

About the role

Connolly, a British luxury house, is seeking a Production Assistant to support the development and delivery of its collections. Working closely with the Head of Production, you will help manage material sourcing, production timelines, and final delivery in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain seasonal production and development critical paths to ensure deadlines are met.
• Liaise with mills, factories and suppliers to manage production requirements and timelines.
• Coordinate packaging and trims production within the critical path.
• Support ordering of fabrics, trims and finishes, and monitor stock levels.
• Check and log fabric deliveries against purchase orders.
• Oversee preparation and dispatch of bulk swatches, lab dips and samples for approval.
• Monitor product quality throughout production and arrange repairs as needed.
• Manage the sample archive, catalogue and photograph samples, and coordinate sample production with international suppliers.
• Prepare delivery notes, invoices and labels for export/import and organise production data for accurate reporting.
• Maintain product information in the PLM system and assist with new product management tools.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of fashion production, sourcing and logistics.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage several priorities under tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with EU shipping carriers such as DHL and UPS.
• Confidence using PLM and production tools (e.g., Zedonk, Notion, Trello).
• Strong Excel and Adobe skills.
• Experience in luxury fashion or a comparable high‑end environment is preferred.
• Proactive attitude with clear, warm communication.

What we offer
