Production Manager – Electronics & Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead our electronics manufacturing operation in Lancaster. You will be responsible for day‑to‑day production across assembly, testing and packing, ensuring that customer delivery targets are met while upholding the highest standards of quality, efficiency and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily production activities in assembly, testing and packing departments.
• Lead, mentor and develop production teams to maximise performance.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives throughout the factory.
• Oversee production planning to ensure on‑time customer deliveries.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager or Operations Manager.
• Background in electronics or a similar technical manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to implement Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing high‑performing teams.
• Ability to commute to Lancaster.
