Production Manager / Operations Manager (Bespoke Manufacturing)

About the role

We are seeking a Production Manager / Operations Manager to support the Managing Director of a prestigious bespoke manufacturing company based in Cheltenham. The role offers full industry training, a clear progression path and a hybrid working arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the workshop, production and small service teams to ensure efficient delivery of bespoke engineering projects.
• Collaborate closely with the Managing Director to drive operational improvements across all engineering functions.
• Identify and implement process enhancements to increase productivity and reduce waste.
• Manage resource planning, scheduling and performance monitoring of production activities.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience within any engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Highly organised, ambitious and capable of acting as the right‑hand to senior management.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Experience in overseeing production or workshop teams.
• Knowledge of operational efficiency techniques.
