Production Operative – 12‑hour Rotating Shifts

About the role

Join Humdinger's fast‑growing confectionery site as a Production Operative. You will work 12‑hour rotating shifts with generous time off, operating key machinery in either processing or packing.

Key responsibilities

• Operate three core assets on the production line after training.
• Maintain product quality, food safety and good manufacturing practices through regular checks and cleaning schedules.
• Monitor machinery performance, report any issues and ensure smooth line operation.
• Complete documentation, including Critical Control Point (CCP) checks, to meet customer specifications and safety standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience operating manufacturing equipment and meeting site‑based performance targets.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to support and guide colleagues.
• Flexible team player who can work under pressure and adapt to different areas of the business.
• Reliable, safety‑conscious and committed to quality and good manufacturing practice.

What we offer

• Starting rate £15.08 / hour, progressing to £16.08 / hour.
