About the role

Acorn by Synergie is seeking Production Operatives for a leading food manufacturer located in Knowsley Business Park, North West England. The role involves operating machinery, packing finished products and supporting the production line in a fast‑paced environment, with the possibility of progressing from a temporary to a permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Operate production machinery safely and efficiently.
• Pack finished products to company quality standards.
• Weigh raw materials accurately and record production paperwork for traceability.
• Palletise finished goods for dispatch and recycle waste materials.
• Handle materials weighing up to 25 kg.
• Achieve daily production targets and key performance indicators.
• Maintain GMP standards and a clean‑as‑you‑go workplace.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and work collaboratively with the production team.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a food production environment.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good manual handling ability and reliable, punctual work ethic.
• Flexibility to cover alternative shift times and local residence or own transport.
