Production Operative (Grading Shed)

About the role

Albert Bartlett, a British family brand founded in 1948 that supplies quality potatoes for meals, is recruiting a Production Operative for its potato packing site in Boston, Lincolnshire. The role works on a rolling 4 days on, 4 days off pattern, from 6am to 6pm, at £12.71 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately grade potato products so they meet quality and weight specifications.
• Inspect products for defects or quality issues and report concerns to the supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the area, following health and safety protocols.
• Work with team members to meet daily targets and deadlines.

Required profile

• Previous experience in production or grading roles is advantageous, especially in the food industry.
• Attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards.
• Physical fitness, as the role involves heavy lifting and standing for long periods.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic in a team environment.
