Production Operative

About the role

Join Samworth Brothers at our Manton Wood site in Worksop as a Production Operative. You will be part of a multicultural team that keeps our food‑to‑go lines running smoothly, preparing high‑quality salads, sandwiches and other pre‑packed products.

Key responsibilities

• Wash and prepare fresh produce for packaging.
• Operate slicing, dicing and mixing machines safely and efficiently.
• Use labeling machines to organise stock rotation and ensure accurate product identification.
• Handle heavy loads, pushing, pulling or lifting items up to 20 kg and moving wheeled pallets up to 200 kg.

Required profile

• Physical stamina to perform repetitive, heavy‑lifting tasks.
• Ability to follow food‑safety and hygiene standards.
• Commitment to teamwork and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Required skills

• Operating slicing machines.
• Operating dicing machines.
• Operating mixing machines.
• Operating labeling machines.
