Production Planner – Manufacturing Coordination

About the role

We are seeking a Production Planner to join a fast‑growing specialist manufacturing company in Dartford. You will be responsible for coordinating daily and weekly production schedules, supporting inventory control, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily and weekly production plans and schedules.
• Monitor material availability, inventory levels, and production progress.
• Work closely with procurement, warehouse, and shop‑floor teams to resolve any planning issues.
• Provide regular updates on production status to senior management.
• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to optimise workflow and reduce waste.

Required profile

• Experience in food manufacturing or a related production environment.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Experience using inventory management tools.
