Production & Sourcing Manager

About the role

Nero is seeking a Production & Sourcing Manager to own the full product life‑cycle of its natural activewear range, from concept through final delivery. You will drive seasonal planning, sourcing, cost engineering and logistics to meet business objectives while upholding the brand’s quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Source and develop fabrics, trims and manufacturers across Europe and Asia, expanding a resilient supplier base.
• Maintain accurate tech packs, bills of materials and cost targets for all styles.
• Place fabric orders, manage lead times, minimums and safety stock to avoid production delays.
• Oversee time‑and‑action calendars, vendor onboarding, and seasonal vendor scorecards.
• Monitor shipments, coordinate split purchase orders, and arrange third‑party in‑line quality control.
• Handle inbound logistics with freight forwarders and 3PLs, create ASNs in the WMS and ensure timely documentation.
• Collaborate with design and technical teams on post‑season reviews to improve costing, fit and construction.
• Stay current on US and EU environmental regulations and support EPR compliance reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing end‑to‑end product development and sourcing in apparel or activewear.
• Strong understanding of cost engineering, fabric specifications and supply‑chain logistics.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and maintain strict timelines.
• Familiarity with international vendor management and customs documentation.
