Production Team Leader

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production Team Leader to join our family‑run manufacturing business in Doncaster. You will work closely with the Operations & Production Manager, supervising a team of around seven staff across rotating day shifts and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day factory operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate production operatives, technicians and machine operators.
• Support the smooth day‑to‑day running of the factory and maintain high quality standards.
• Operate machinery and perform basic maintenance when required.
• Drive FLT Counterbalance trucks safely and efficiently.
• Assist with warehousing, packaging and export activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation across the site.
• Collaborate with the wider team and provide support wherever needed.

Required profile

• Reliable and proactive with a strong team‑focused attitude.
• Previous experience in production within manufacturing, agriculture, process or similar industries.
• Valid FLT Counterbalance licence.
• Experience of warehousing, packaging or export operations.
• Good computer skills and confidence using operational systems.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Hands‑on approach and willingness to support all areas of the business.
