Program Quality Leader

About the role

The Program Quality Leader is a customer‑facing position representing Safran Landing Systems' quality department at the Gloucester facility. You will act as the primary quality contact for a flagship program, supporting investigations, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as point of contact for FAL, Product Support Engineers and Customer Service on investigation and traceability requests.
• Lead cross‑functional quality investigations, including root‑cause analysis, containment, corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare and submit deviations/concessions on QIS and analyse monthly FAL data for reporting.
• Produce comprehensive reports and presentations for internal and external communication of investigations.
• Attend weekly customer reviews and other stakeholder meetings.
• Collaborate with internal functions on quality improvement activities to boost customer satisfaction and meet business targets.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, specification and contractual requirements.
• Participate in new product development or industrialisation activities (APQP, PFMEA, DVI, etc.).
• Travel to other Safran sites and customer locations as required.

Required profile

• Technical qualification (Apprenticeship, HNC or degree).
• Knowledge of aerospace products, processes and QMS.
• Demonstrated use of quality tools and methodologies.
• Understanding of aerospace regulatory requirements.
• Analytical thinking with a Green Belt certification (desirable).
• French language skills are a plus.
