Programme Manager – Artificial Intelligence (12‑month FTC)

About the role

TechUK is seeking a Programme Manager to lead its Artificial Intelligence programme. This 12‑month fixed‑term position will drive AI adoption initiatives across UK industries, working closely with members, stakeholders and the wider tech ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AI content, strategy and activities that are relevant, credible and influential.
• Organise member meetings, roundtables and large‑scale events, including TechUK’s annual AI conference and AI Adoption Coalition gatherings.
• Collaborate with the Director of Technology and Innovation to deliver outputs that accelerate responsible AI adoption.
• Ensure AI programme outputs align with member needs and broader industry debates.
• Actively participate in the UK AI ecosystem and cultivate relationships with industry leaders.

• Highly organised, proactive and able to prioritise in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with a variety of stakeholders.
• Independent thinker who can also work effectively as part of a team.
• Enthusiastic about technology policy, strategy and ecosystem development.
• Comfortable generating new ideas and suggestions for the AI programme.
