Project & Communications Officer – Dementia Hwb

About the role

The Dementia Hwb Project & Communications Officer will support Dementia Friendly Swansea in delivering a high‑impact project that improves the lives of people living with dementia across Swansea and Neath Port Talbot. Working 30 hours per week on‑site, you will combine project coordination with communications and marketing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities, timelines and deliverables to ensure milestones are met.
• Produce regular reports and manage project data, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
• Develop and implement communications strategies, including social‑media content, newsletters and promotional materials.
• Engage with community, health and third‑sector partners to raise awareness and foster collaboration.
• Support occasional weekend work when project demands arise.

Required profile

• Strong organisational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven experience in project coordination, reporting or data management.
• Background in communications, marketing or social‑media management, preferably within community or health settings.
• Team‑player attitude with the capacity to juggle multiple priorities.
