Project Coordinator – Engineering Projects

About the role

The Project Coordinator will support the Engineering Manager in delivering engineering activities across multiple energy projects. Based in Basingstoke, the role involves close collaboration with technical authorities, contractors and internal teams to ensure design integrity, safety and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Engineering Manager in planning, coordinating and following‑up engineering tasks for assigned projects.
• Review critical engineering deliverables to guarantee design quality and compliance.
• Liaise with the Technical Authority to ensure adherence to company, HSE and local regulatory standards.
• Monitor progress against schedules, identify risks or delays and support corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain accurate project status reports, highlighting issues, risks and upcoming priorities.
• Support risk, interface, change and stakeholder management activities.
• Coordinate and track project actions, technical queries, change requests and engineering decisions.
• Promote effective communication across engineering, project management, HSE, procurement, construction and vendor teams.
• Travel as required for meetings, vendor visits or site support.

Required profile

• Experience supporting engineering or project teams in a technical environment.
• Strong understanding of HSE requirements and ability to work to company and regulatory standards.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to track multiple actions and deadlines.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and stakeholder locations.
