Project Cost Controller – Energy & Nuclear Projects

About the role

We are seeking a Project Cost Controller to join Axima Nucléaire’s team, supporting major nuclear ventilation and fluid process projects. Based in either Bristol (UK) or Marcq‑en‑Barœul (France), you will work closely with the Project Management Team to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Update physical and financial progress curves and prepare progress statements for invoicing.
• Contribute to monthly project progress reports, including workforce data and productive hours.
• Maintain and improve project progress measurement and invoicing methodologies.
• Prepare change requests for the Contract Unit Price Schedule and keep it up‑to‑date.
• Monitor order intake, invoicing, and cash collection in coordination with Sales Administration.
• Track supplier invoicing schedules, forecast cash flow, and support bi‑annual budget reviews.
• Assist Project Managers with Estimates at Completion (EAC) and variance analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement of management control processes and tools.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (Bac +5) in Finance, Management Control, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in management control or financial management on large‑scale construction or industrial projects.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems, especially SAP.
• Experience using Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel.
• Familiarity with Power BI is a plus.
