Project Engineer – PPS Services (Aberdeen)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Project Engineer to join our PPS (Process & Pipeline Services) team in Aberdeen. You will work on small‑to‑medium oil and gas projects, ensuring engineering deliverables meet global standards and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute all PPS procedures in line with company standards and maintain thorough documentation.
• Act as the primary engineering contact for assigned projects while supporting Project Account Managers.
• Collaborate with UK sales teams to develop profitable service offerings for the oil and gas sector.
• Identify and report new business opportunities to drive additional revenue.
• Participate in on‑call rotations, departmental meetings and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance to field engineers, forecast resource needs and support operations during holiday or absentee coverage.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to carry out engineering scopes for both process and pipeline projects.
• Understanding of customer requirements, operational procedures and offshore safety certifications (UKNS offshore survival, valid medical).
• Strong communication skills for interaction with staff, contractors and clients.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using Bluebeam.
• Familiarity with Centrum applications.
• Knowledge of Oracle (advantageous).
